The muhurat of Bhushan Kumar's Kajraare was a very simple and homely affair at Film City, Goregaon. Veteran filmmaker Jony Bakshi sounded the clapper board while Mahesh Bhatt was there to boost the morale of daughter director Pooja Bhatt's team, Creative director Divya Khosla Kumar started the camera while playback singer Tulsi Kumar and music direcotr hero Himesh Reshammiya were discussing the intricacies of the muber she is rendering in Kajraare. Writer Shagufta Rafiq, Monalizza and Ajay Kapoor, Director T Series, made their presence felt. Said Mahaesh Bhatt, " Johny Bakshi had given me my first break years agao. And I did this film to pay him back." Adding Bhatt avered that" Bhushan was a chip off the old block. Kajraare with its music and its strength of story would be a film that will make its mark," he added. Divya Kumar felt that" the film has tremendous potential and the beginning has been made with the muhurat." Director Pooja Bhatt stated,"I wanted to go commercial with a vengeane after Paap and what would be a better combination than a musical with Himesh Reshammiya and Bhushan Kumar's T Series! I have gone commercial with Kajraare, but at the same time, it is definitely a story with a heart.
