Meghna's Haute and How!

Vikram Singh Chadha

Mehgna Naidu and Shaswati come together after Kaliyon Kam Chaman again. This time with a video called It's Hot. Meghna feels that the song is just cool. "Shaswati has a great voice and we had a ball though the shooting was not easy. We shot in locations that we would otherwise never do in life .And enjoyed being together as a team."

Here's looking forward to more of this hot babe who is incidentally awaiting the release of her film Rivaaz that will project a differential and more serious image of her on her silver screen.

All About Downloading Movies Online

Thanks to high speed Internet, downloading movies online is fast. However, every technological innovation can also bring about possible problems. That is why it is vital to make sure you carefully select the best website for downloading movies online. The following tips will guide you through some important points to consider in choosing a movie download service.

All About Fees

Some websites that offer downloading movies online charge a one-time membership fee in return for unlimited movie downloads. Other websites allow unlimited downloads for a monthly fee. Read the membership agreement carefully so that you know exactly what the cost is and what you receive in return. Monthly fees are typically less expensive up front, but this type of recurring fee paid each month to continue downloading movies online will add up quickly. Websites charging a one-time membership fee may be more expensive in the beginning, but if you plan to keep downloading movies online, it may be a better long-term arrangement.

What You Can Download

Some movie download websites only offer movies online. However, other websites also offer music, video, and game files in addition to movies. Some websites even provide extras like computer software, editing software, and DVD/CD burning software.

Resolution

Quality is important when it comes to movies. Check the resolution of your prospective downloading movies online website to make sure you are getting DVD quality resolution. Nobody wants to watch a grainy picture, especially not on a high-quality HDTV.

Speed

Consider the speed when downloading movies online. You want a website with a fast download speed so you don't have to spend an hour waiting for your movie to download.

Spyware/Malware

Make sure your movie download website is only downloading movies into your computer. Torrent, P2P, file sharing, and free movie download websites are notorious for putting spyware, malware, and even viruses onto unsuspecting people's computers.

DVD Burning Options

Look for a movie download website that allows you to burn the movies you download onto a DVD. That way, you won't be limited to watching your movies on your computer. You can watch them on your TV or even take them along on a portable DVD player.

Catalog of Titles

Check out the catalog of titles when signing up with a website to download movies online. Some websites may only offer a hundred titles while others offer millions of files. Choose a website that offers millions of choices. That way you will never get bored with the selection and your membership fee will go a long way. In addition, check out the downloadable formats so you cannot only download movies online into your computer, but also into your iPod, PSP player, Zune, and more.

Copyright Infringement Issues

Don't risk downloading pirated movies online! When you stick with legitimate membership fee based websites that don't violate copyright laws and that do honor royalty agreements, you won't go wrong.

By keeping these few issues in mind, you will have a great experience downloading movies online. Make use of the Internet's innovations in technology and then sit back to enjoy a blockbuster movie.

“Let's go for a little ride.”

-Dom, “The Fast and the Furious”

With the price of gasoline rocketing (not to mention the cringe-worthy prices of those sleek and shiny sports cars we all dream of owning), it's no wonder that we common people turn to the big screen in hopes of getting our automobile fixes...er, fixed. The recent decade has seen an advance in movies featuring cars in all their glory, the two mentioned here heading the list.

The Fast and the Furious takes us into the underground culture of street racing: a world of seasoned drivers, hot babes, and equally erection-inducing automobiles. Set in an urban backdrop amidst the heat of rival gangs, the film uses a crime story as an excuse to display a wide array of juiced-up cars and blitz-crazy racing sequences.

The cast was well picked for their particular roles, with the possible exception of Paul Walker, who, as the screenplay goes, really didn’t have to do much acting. The sound track and mixing fits the bill, and gears the viewer for the action sequences. The plot seems reminiscent of many cop flicks— an undercover policeman getting too involved with those he’s investigating and the film throws in a red herring for good measure. It’s a rehash yes, but not an entirely bad attempt of one.

Besides the main feature of the movie, anyway, are the cars and the racing. The autos are souped up, flashy from the chassis to their shiny sinews underneath the hood. While some might nitpick on a couple of mechanical elements here and there, the film writers did their research and their consultants know their stuff. Not just for style, the featured cars perform too. Aside from elevating a normal street racing scenes up a notch, the movie also adds a considerable amount of horsepower to their chase sequences. To boot, the stunt drivers and coordinators perform a truck-jacking heist at 100mph seamlessly which deserves a seat in the annals of film history.

Overall, it’s fun to watch, if you’re really into cars and looking for a high-paced action flick.

Speed Racer has been getting a lot of flak since its opening in May this year. Based on the famous 1960s Japanese cartoon series of the same name, Speed Racer the movie is the Wachowski brothers' take on this racing story.

Set in a dizzying world of colors that will never be found in a rainbow, the Racer family featuring Speed goes up against an evil automobile-racing magnate who is determined, in all his purple resplendence, to stop them from winning. It's the classic good vs. bad, the little people vs. the big, greedy conglomerates. Speed sets out to prove that that racing isn't all dirty, aided by the mysterious Racer X, in gravity-defying races that run from landscapes covered in ice to sand-blasted deserts.

Most of the negative comments on Speed Racer come from the campiness of the movie, the overwhelmingly blinding set productions and the weaker-than-watered-down-soda storyline. True, the dialogue consisted mostly of bunches of clichés strung together and it was rather painful having to watch Mr. Royalton mumble off that speech on racing, but the plot did have its moments.

The races were highly imaginative: CGI employed for all its worth. While fun to watch and thrilling in its own right, there was some confusion as to what exactly what was going on in the race. Despite everything though, Speed Racer earns some points at least for sticking true to its cartoon original. It's a must-watch for those who loved the series, for comparison's sake if not for anything else.
